ScreenPath Refund Policy
- Effective date: November 1, 2026
- Applies to: ScreenPath paid plans (monthly, annual and education subscriptions; international subscriptions; 1-month or 12-month pass)
- Payment page: https://pay.screenpath.dev (operated by Flowmate Inc.)
This policy sets out how cancellations, withdrawals and refunds work for ScreenPath paid plans, in line with our Terms of Service and the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. Flowmate Inc. ("we") is the seller of Korean subscriptions and international passes and handles their refunds. International subscriptions are sold by our reseller, Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), and are refunded through Paddle under the rules in this policy (Section 8).
1. The products
| Product | Price (per person) | Payment | Renewal |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly subscription | ₩12,900 per month | Card issued in Korea (Toss Payments recurring billing) | Every month until you cancel |
| Annual subscription | ₩129,000 per year | Card issued in Korea (Toss Payments recurring billing) | Every year until you cancel |
| Education monthly subscription | ₩5,500 per month | Card issued in Korea (Toss Payments recurring billing); education verification required | Every month until you cancel |
| Paddle subscription (monthly/yearly) | US$12 per month or US$119 per year | Cards issued outside Korea, Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, etc. through Paddle checkout (Paddle.com Market Limited is the seller) | Every month or every year until you cancel |
| International pass | US$12 for 1 month or US$119 for 12 months | Card issued outside Korea, or PayPal (Toss Payments international payments) | No automatic renewal — one payment; moves to the free plan when the period ends |
All Korean and international subscription and pass prices are tax included. The advertised US$12 and US$119 include VAT, sales tax and similar taxes; Paddle calculates tax within those amounts.
International payments are made by the method shown on the payment page. Until we offer Paddle checkout, only international passes are sold; international pass sales end when international payments move to Paddle subscriptions. Existing passes keep their paid period and this refund policy.
The education price is for students and staff of formal schools only (primary, secondary and universities); private academies and tutoring centres are excluded.
Annual subscriptions, including international annual subscriptions, receive in-app and email reminders 30 days and 7 days before renewal, with the date, amount and how to cancel.
Prices are fixed amounts; you cannot choose your own amount. The checkout shows the product, amount, currency, period, whether it renews, and how to cancel before you pay.
There is no free trial. The free plan involves no payment and is not subject to refunds.
Paddle subscription prices include tax (Tax included), and Paddle subscriptions have no free trial.
If Paddle subscriptions become available, sales of Toss international passes may be discontinued.
Paddle subscriptions are paid through Paddle checkout on the screenpath.dev pricing page.
2. Cancel anytime
You can cancel at any time, online, from the subscription settings (international subscriptions can also be cancelled from Paddle's subscription management page). You can choose:
| Option | Effect | Refund |
|---|---|---|
| Standard cancellation (subscriptions) | No further charges; paid features continue until the end of the current billing period | None (you use the period you paid for) |
| Immediate cancellation (subscriptions or passes) | Paid features end at once | Under Sections 3 and 4 |
- Passes never renew, so there is nothing to cancel unless you want to end early and get a refund — choose immediate cancellation.
- Paddle subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from the payment management screen (the Paddle customer portal). Standard cancellation takes effect on the next billing date (the end of the current billing period), and you keep the period you have already paid for. Immediate cancellation and refunds for Paddle subscriptions follow this policy and Paddle's buyer terms.
- Your projects are not deleted; anything beyond the free plan's limits becomes read-only (export still works).
3. 7-day withdrawal
You may withdraw within 7 days of each payment (the first Korean monthly, annual or education subscription payment, each renewal, each pass purchase, and the first Paddle payment and each monthly or yearly Paddle renewal).
| Situation | Refund |
|---|---|
| Within 7 days, paid features not used | Full refund |
| Within 7 days, paid features used | Payment amount minus a prorated charge for the days used |
- "Used" means using, at least once in that billing period, a feature available only on the paid plan — for example connecting or calling the MCP connector, inviting collaborators to your project, using version history, or creating/editing beyond the free plan's limits (1 project, 20 screens). Signing in, viewing existing projects and exporting do not count.
- If the law of your country of residence gives you a longer withdrawal period or better terms (for example, the 14-day right of withdrawal for EU/UK consumers), that applies instead.
4. After 7 days — immediate cancellation with prorated refund
- After the 7-day window you can still choose immediate cancellation at any time and receive a prorated refund of the unused days (all subscriptions and passes alike).
- We deduct nothing else — no cancellation fee, no processing fee, and no clawback of any discount. An annual subscription or 12-month pass is prorated on the amount you actually paid.
- Regardless of timing, we refund:
- service unavailability caused by us (prorated refund, or an equivalent extension if you prefer);
- duplicate or erroneous charges (in full);
- discontinuation of the Service (prorated refund of the remaining period);
- cases where the service differs from what was advertised or contracted (withdrawal within 3 months of supply, or within 30 days of when you learned or could have learned of it, as provided by Korean law).
5. How proration works
Refund = payment − (payment × days used ÷ total days in the billing period).
The payment date counts as day 1, and days are counted up to the day you request cancellation. Total days are the actual days from the payment date to the end of the period (28–31 for one month; 365 or 366 for one year or twelve months).
Fractions below one won (or one cent for USD) are rounded up in your favor.
Examples: a 30-day monthly subscription (₩12,900) cancelled on day 4 → refund ₩12,900 × 26/30 = ₩11,180; a 365-day annual subscription (₩129,000) cancelled on day 100 → refund ₩129,000 × 265/365 = ₩93,658 (rounded up).
A US$119 12-month pass cancelled on day 100 refunds 11,900 cents × 265/365 = 8,640 cents (US$86.40) for a 365-day period, or 11,900 cents × 266/366 = 8,649 cents (US$86.49) for a 366-day period, rounded up to the next cent.
6. How to request a refund
- In the subscription settings (standard or immediate cancellation)
- For Paddle subscriptions, use the payment management screen (the Paddle customer portal) for standard cancellation; request immediate cancellation or a refund from our support contacts below or Paddle buyer support.
- Email ceo@flowmate.kr with your account email, payment date and order ID
- Call 070-8098-5126 (cannot receive text messages)
- For international subscriptions, you can also request a refund from Paddle's receipt email or at https://paddle.net
7. Timing and method
- Except for Paddle subscriptions, we ask our payment provider (Toss Payments) to cancel the payment within 3 business days of receiving your request.
- Paddle subscription refunds are decided by us under this policy; within 3 business days of receiving your request, we ask Paddle.com Market Limited to execute the refund to the original payment method. Your consumer rights under Paddle's buyer terms (for example, the 14-day right of withdrawal for EU/UK consumers) remain fully protected.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method, in the currency you paid.
- Cards issued in Korea: your card issuer may take an additional 3–7 business days to show it.
- Cards issued outside Korea: your issuer and the card network may take longer. We refund the amount in the original currency; exchange rates and foreign-transaction fees applied by your card issuer are not set or received by us.
- PayPal: refunded to your PayPal account.
- Paddle subscriptions: refunded through Paddle to the original payment method.
- If a refund is delayed, we pay late-payment interest as required by Korean e-commerce law.
8. International subscriptions (Paddle)
- International subscriptions are sold by Paddle as Merchant of Record, and Paddle's Buyer Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms) also apply to payments and refunds.
- The cancellation, withdrawal and proration rules in Sections 2 to 5 apply to international subscriptions in the same way. Where Paddle's Buyer Terms are more favorable to you, they apply.
- If you ask us for a refund, we ask Paddle to refund the amount due under this policy within 3 business days of your request. Paddle refunds it to your original payment method in the currency you paid, together with the corresponding tax.
9. Termination for breach
Even if we terminate your account for violating the Terms (Article 15), we refund the unused part of your paid plan, prorated as in Section 5. Any claim we have for actual damage caused by the violation is handled separately under applicable law.
10. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits consumer rights you have under Korean law (including the Content Industry Promotion Act) or the mandatory laws of your country of residence. Where the law is more favorable to you than this policy, the law applies.
